Here, learn how to draw *NOT THE* – but ‘A’ – green goblin!
Actually, I’ve always wondered – just what the heck does one of these creatures look like? Every Halloween, it’s ‘Ghosts and Goblins’… but then – everywhere you look, it’s ghosts, pumpkins, skeletons, witches, vampires, werewolves — but not too many of these little guys!
Well, I decided to get real creative and come up with something totally unique here. And yes, I’m pretty sure that’s ‘candy corn‘ on his horns! 🙂
Ready to draw?… Awesome!
First Step – He’s Slouched and Looks Like This…
With this particular character, I wanted to come up with something totally unique. But still, given immense practice drawing all sorts of ‘real worldly’ critters… coming up with a simple structure for this one, wasn’t so hard.
Here it is!
I omitted the neck area as I wasn’t so sure how it was all going to come together. You’ll see soon enough!
Alright – let’s begin!
Second Step – Here’s How to Draw *A* Green Goblin!
Beginning with the eyes (of course!) – and then branching out to slowly bring in the rest of his head… here’s how this creature takes shape, step by step. As you’re working through the process, see if you can add and subtract things to make your goblin all the – well… stranger!?
Whoa! Pretty wild stuff. A lot of intricate little steps along the way – but in the end, I’d say we’ve got a new and cool-looking monster. And what’s even more cool, is that no one really knows – again – what a goblin is ‘supposed to’ look like. Add horns! A longer tail! Four fingers! Wings!?
A nice little start to the many Halloween drawing lessons on the way — this is going to be fun!!
